Yes — ModelPilot is BYOK (Bring Your Own Key). You connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Groq, or Gemini keys. We encrypt them at rest with AES-256 and never expose them to the client. Your AI costs go directly to the provider.
One message is one user turn in a conversation — when a visitor sends a message and your bot responds. System messages and internal retries don't count. The counter resets on the 1st of each calendar month.
